Was looking out for a very rare set of Ruf 17 inch rims for my 964. Being based out of Australia I decided to surf the net and see what came up. Was extremely lucky to find Tom at Young timer had a set for sale. Even though cars are his main business, he treated the sale of the rims to me as a top priority just as I imagine he would treat a car sale. Tom's communication is superb. The wheels were packed perfectly and arrived exactly as described. Tom supported me as best he could to ensure the safe travel of the wheels all the way from Europe to Australia. I can only say that Tom treats all his customers incredibly well given how he treated me in spite of my transaction being relatively small wheel sale. Absolute professionalism and a true enthusiast to boot. I cant ask for more.

Hi Tiks, Great news your set of 17" Ruf by Speedline arrived in good order. Although selling rims is not my main revenue stream I do think they’re jewelry for any great 911 (finishing touch to a good car, or mess it up completely if they’re over the top) so when I find a nice set, I either fit them to a 911 or offer them on my website. Literally, shipping that set to the other side of the world was a first for me so giving it some extra attention goes without saying . Looking forward to seeing them on your 964

Tom has taken excellent care of my car burocracy from the start. At first contact the possibilities and approach for importing, homologating and passing technical approval of my 911 were discussed in detail. Once the procedure was underway, I have received continuous feedback on hurdles to be taken and progress of the “individual type approval”. He also coordinated the technical preparation of my car and advised my about prioritisation of jobs to be done as mandatory because safety and effectiveness of the driving (so called “tech prep phase 1) and jobs that could have been postponed to a second step (“tech prep phase 2”). At delivery the car was meeting expectations due to a follow-up properly done from the start to the end.
